Braves Clinch All Star Men’s Hockey Series
ACTION goals from Kaspersky Southern Gauteng's Shaun Davenhill midway through the first half and another from an untidy penalty corner on the stroke of half-time that was well finished off by homeboy Taine Paton of KZN Coastal Raiders gave Brothers Sport Braves a 2-0 win over iTrainer Warriors in the final game of the EagleTurf All Star Men's Hockey Series at Riverside Sports Club in Durban North Wednesday night.
The result clinches a 3-1 series victory for the Braves and gives national men's coach Gregg Clark much to think about as he whittles down South Africa's top 30 players into an 18-man team that will go into the Olympic Games qualifiers and Champions Challenge tournament later this year.
