JONATHAN COOK Over 1000 hockey players have descended on the KwaZulu-Natal capital for three days of fun with old friends and former rivals in one of the biggest events of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The Time Freight South African Masters will take place on nine hockey turfs and grass pitches in Pietermaritzburg from Thursday to Saturday and brings together 66 men’s and women’s provincial teams from all over South Africa as well as Namibia and Zimbabwe. |
